Modern Cue Club

Book a table. Open the door. Play.

Modern Cue Club is preparing a members’ billiards venue in Kelowna. We are building the software around a straightforward goal: members should be able to book, arrive and play without a front-desk handoff.

The brief

Explain the founding-membership offer now and design the booking and access experience around it.

Our part

Membership website and the architecture for bookings, billing and door-access integration.

The app

Members pick a free table on the floor plan.

A website for the current stage

The public site introduces the club, its membership options and the planned experience. It currently invites founding members to join before the doors open. That is the live experience shown in these screenshots.

Behind the screen

Members see a floor plan and a Book button. The people running the club see the whole room: every table, every booking, every membership and what it pays.

The day at a glance: nine tables, every booking, and a line for right now. Staff move, email or cancel a booking from here.

The founding roster: who has access, monthly dues by tier, failed payments, and memberships recorded by hand for an e-transfer or a Snowbird Pass.

Bring membership and access together

The platform architecture connects membership, booking and commercial Kisi door access. The intended flow grants access for an eligible booking window, then removes it when that window expires or the booking is cancelled.

Give the operator a clear view

The operational design includes memberships, booking exceptions and access visibility. An unstaffed entry experience still needs tools for the person responsible for the venue.

Be precise about what is live

The founding-membership website is public. The broader venue and access experience are in development. Our technical article describes the architecture; it is not a claim that the physical venue is already operating around the clock.

Demo data: every name and email in these screens is made up. Staff and member screens captured September 25, 2026.
