Connected devices · Kelowna & Vancouver
From the screen to the physical world.
Some products have a job outside the browser. We connect physical devices and cloud software, keeping the field experience and the operator’s view part of the same design.
See it in practice
Modern Cue ClubModern Cue Club is preparing a members’ billiards venue in Kelowna. We are building the software around a straightforward goal: members should be able to book, arrive and play without a front-desk handoff.View the case study
How we work
Start with the conditions
Power, signal, installation and the people using the device shape the design. We establish those constraints before deciding what belongs on the device and what belongs in the cloud.
Make the information useful
A dashboard needs to explain what is happening and what to do next. We connect device events to the people who need them, with clear states for delayed, missing or unreliable data.
Plan for the connection to fail
Devices lose signal and services become unavailable. We consider recovery and visibility as part of the build, alongside the normal operating flow. FindrFleet brings hardware, firmware and a tracking platform together; Modern Cue Club connects member software with commercial door access.
Before we start
Do you build the hardware or integrate it?
Either can be appropriate. We review available devices and services first, then define where custom hardware or firmware is justified.
Can software control an existing access system?
Where the system exposes suitable APIs and permissions, yes. We establish access rules, failure behavior and operator controls before implementation.
Can you start with a prototype?
Yes. A focused prototype can test connectivity and the core device-to-software flow before committing to a larger build.
