Founder Feast

Good conversations need a little organisation.

Founder Feast brings founders together over dinner. We built the website, the mobile app for discovering dinners and managing reservations, and the tools that keep it all running.

The brief

Make joining a founder dinner straightforward while giving the team a manageable event workflow.

Our part

Public website, applications, member workflows, payments and operational integrations.

Built in

Five weeks to the first release, documented in our build story.

The app

Members find a dinner in their city.

They reserve a seat. Membership covers it.

Make the invitation clear

The public site explains what the dinner is, who it is for and how to apply. The visual direction uses real dinner photography, giving prospective members a sense of the experience before they take the next step.

Behind the screen

Members see a dinner, a seat and, two days before, the restaurant and who they are sitting with. The team sees everything that has to happen for that to go right.

Today: what needs doing now, in order. An overdue reminder, the week's invitations, each one a button and a preview.

Every dinner in the next two weeks, per city: seats filled, whether a room is booked, and when the reveal is due.

One dinner, from planning to completed: the restaurant, the table and the founders seated at it, and the reveal the team sends when it is ready.
One dinner's page with its pipeline from planning to completed, the restaurant, and the four founders seated at the table
The member pipeline: an application waiting on a decision, counts for every stage, and progress toward each city's target.

Connect the steps after the application

The build connects applications, payment collection, review and event assignments. Notifications keep applicants informed as their status changes, while an operational dashboard gives the team a place to manage the process.

Build for the people behind the table

A useful admin experience was part of the scope from the beginning. Reviewing applications and communicating decisions should not require someone to edit database records or manually repeat the same messages.

The result

The platform is live, and its public site serves the community across Vancouver, Toronto and Kelowna. The earlier build story documents the initial five-week release; this page shows the current public website rather than presenting that first version as today’s product.

Demo data: the founders, emails and dinners in these screens are made up. Admin screens captured September 30, 2026 on a local test setup; app screens are the ones on the Founder Feast site.

Project scope is documented in our original build story. The public site and screenshots were reviewed September 21, 2026. No current revenue or conversion uplift is claimed. Admin screens captured September 30, 2026 on demo data.
